Starting therapy is a powerful new chapter, but finding the right therapist can feel challenging. Real growth happens when you find a counselor who truly understands you. I work with adults, teens, couples, and families to help them navigate life’s challenges. I believe that treatment should be as unique as the individual. Accordingly, I utilize a range of modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), to help clients meet their specific goals. Within these frameworks, I incorporate practical tools such as mindfulness, distress tolerance, cognitive restructuring, emotional regulation, and relapse prevention.
Additionally, aa Veteran and a fluent user of American Sign Language (ASL), I bring a unique perspective to my practice. I am proud to provide direct, culturally competent care to fellow Veterans and consumers within the Deaf community.
